    Mala's Mascots Intro

    It is said that besides Taiwan's nine aboriginal peoples, another mysterious ethnic groups called "Mala People" preserved the last paradise, Mala Bay, every generation before it was discovered. Mala people reserve many traditional customs as follow: every born Mala person must have the ablution at the Sumahu, a symbol of joy and luck, to pray for safety grow; for 18-year-old young men and women, challenging Aumuhu to gain courage a rite of passage; then they must pass the thrilling test of Big Wave to become the people of the sea; it is believed that the newlywed would own forever love by having a wedding in the Lazy River full of rose petals; the abundant water is dumped from the A-Chu Slide and enable the Mala people full of exuberant vitality. Oh-e-yeh is the greeting word in Mala language. It means "Hello" and "welcome". No Doubt! If someone shout "Oh-e-yeh"at you in Mala Bay, that's enthusiastic Mala people welcoming you.
